ISO 14001:2004

ISO 14001 is a globally valid and recognised standard. It provides a flexible framework for the voluntary development of environmental protection measures around the world. The aim of the certification is the reduction of environmental risks and the improvement of environmental performance. Since September 2010 the Radisson Blu Hotel, Basel has been ISO 14001:2004 certified according, to the achievement of the ISO 14001 goals.

Continuous Improvement Process:

• Planning: definition of the objectives and processes to achieve the implementation of the environmental policy of the organisation
• Running: the implementation of processes
• Controlling: monitoring of processes with regard to legal and other requirements, as well as the success of the organisation in environmental protection measures
• Optimising: if necessary the processes have to be corrected
