World Travel Award 2012
The Radisson Blu Hotel in Berlin has received a World Travel Award as Germany's Leading Business Hotel 2012. This prestigious award in the travel and tourism industry includes a number of categories. Prizes for European winners were handed out on the 6th of October 2012 at a glittering ceremony held in the Algarve in Portugal.
The World Travel Awards were presented for the first time in 1993. Votes are cast each year for awards in a number of regions: Africa, Asia/Pacific, Caribbean, Central America, Europe, the Middle East, North America and South America. Hundreds of thousands of decision-makers from more than 160 countries around the world vote to decide on the award winners. Thirteen other hotels were nominated in the 'Germany's Leading Business Hotel 2012' category.

Trained Staff
The Radisson Blu Hotel in Berlin has trained selected staff on the pharmaceutical compliance code and the current German laws in order to support meeting planners and agencies that represent pharmaceutical, medical or healthcare companies.
The training workshop was held by the FSA to introduce the FSA code for pharmaceutical, medical and healthcare companies and to review the requirements for hotel and meeting facilities to implement practical exercises in regards to FSA code when hosting these companies.
