Opened in 1989, Fish Market was the first restaurant of its kind in Dubai and enjoyed instant popularity which continues. It has been voted "Favourite Seafood Restaurant" by the "What's On" awards ever since the awards began in 2002.
The dishes are delicious standards that might be found in almost any restaurant in the Far East. Fresh seafood and fish are displayed on a bed of ice, and guests can choose which to have cooked to order. Exotic and fancy sauces include red chili, egg yellow curry, Thai red curry and lemon butter garlic.
Signature dishes include baby hammour in Thai red curry sauce, live crab in black pepper sauce Singapore style, tiger prawns in lemon butter garlic sauce and a live Australian lobster cooked any way you desire. Appetizers include tom yam kum soup with mushrooms, fish and vegetables or seafood soup with a mix of shrimp, fish cake and vegetables.
