Explore the curious Kiev Drugstore Museum
The fascinating Kiev Drugstore Museum takes visitors on a journey through history, with numerous displays of special jars, herbal blends, ancient prescriptions and pharmacist instruments. Preserved crabs and serpents can be seen, as can a basement where patients were treated with extracts, prayers and fragrant herbs.
A pharmacy still operates from the site of the first drug store in the Ukraine, keeping various customs alive, such as the production of traditional balsams.
