Music and Congress Centre

The Music and Congress Centre is located next to the River Trave, opposite the Old City, opened its doors in 1994. In Lübeck it is fondly called the MuK. Designed by internationally renowned architect, Meinhardt von Gerkan, the Centre combines a concert hall, a civic and congress hall as well as an exhibition centre.

The Foyer
Its multi-functional, daylight-flooded foyer, overlooking Lübeck`s historical Old City, offers 1650 square metres. Its modern architecture is captivating and it is the state-of-the-art location for any event. The Foyer is perfect for conference related exhibitions, fairs, meetings, symposia, product presentations or standing concerts. Maximum capacity is 3,500 people.

The Concert Hall
The Concert Hall can be booked with tiered or parliamentary style seating. Up to 1,900 people can be seated in rows equipped with adjustable desktops. Up to 900 people can be seated in parliamentary style. State-of-the-art acoustics, media and projection technology makes this hall a unique venue.

Conference and Seminar Rooms
The MuK boasts two conference rooms and eight seminar rooms, the size of which can be tailored according to individual requirements, ranging from 30 - 73 square metres and even bigger combinations, offering room for work shops or press conferences. In addition the 180 square metres big concert hall can also be used for events.

The Music and Congress Centre is located only 100 metres from the Radisson Blu Senator Hotel.
