Coo Waterfall

Nestled in the beautiful Ardennes region, the Coo Waterfall is a well-known sight on the river Amblève. At fifteen metres high, this is Belgium's biggest and most important waterfall, as well as a spectacular sight to see for any visitor to the region.

Less than half an hour from the Coo Waterfall, the Radisson Blu Palace Hotel, Spa, is an ideal location for a relaxing break. This is the perfect base from which to explore the local attractions such as the historic town of Liège, a must-visit destination for culture and architecture aficionados.

Explore the Coo Waterfall and wider Ardennes region
Visitors to the Coo Waterfall can enjoy the falls from above on the chair lift, which travels over the village of Coo to offer panoramic views of the Amblève valley. At the foot of the waterfall, a number of activities are also available in a leisure park which offers mini golf, go-karting, kayaking and an amusement park during the summer months.

Further afield, the rural Ardennes region is an outdoor enthusiast's dream, home to extensive forests and rolling hills. Settlements like the town of Spa also lie in the region, famed for its cold mineral springs containing healing properties. Whilst Spa may be the original destination for a relaxing break, the town also harbours an adventurous side, boasting Europe's oldest casino. The hotel is near Spa-Franchorchamps as well, the famous circuit which is home to the annual Belgian Formula One Grand Prix.
