Resort offers superb children's activities in Trysil
For families visiting this ski town, the hotel provides an extensive and exciting list of activities for children and teenagers. Younger children enjoy the children's pool and playroom, as well as the deeper pool with thrilling features. Trysil offers an extensive range of kid-friendly ski zones where younger guests can stay active and entertained. Kids choose from nine lifts, an exciting variety of slopes and jumps and interactive attractions, including a talking tree, golden chicken and more. The ski resort places a priority on safety in these areas.
Around the Tourist Centre
Ride the lift Eventyr with parallel lifts Trol and Knerten as well as a "magic carpet" ride for toddlers. A small terrain park allows skiers to challenge their skills with rails and other features.
Høyfjells Centre
Kid-friendly slopes are available off the lifts Smotten, Isiz and Stjerna. The Smottepark is full of unique and inviting ski elements, such as the talking tree and golden chicken. Gammelgard, located in Smotten, offers additional activities for kids.
Skihytta
Kids can ride the ski lift Bamse, which offers a 365-metre slope along with animal shaped statues.
Smotte Kid's Club
A unique kid's club in the resort area of Trysil, the club features the popular Smottene. With free membership, kid's can receive a complimentary magazine and newsletter (in Norwegian only) from Smottetass, as well as a free gift. Kids can also meet and greet the cuddly Smottene and his sidekick, the giant white bear, Skogbrum. Skogbrum hosts a popular treasure hunt for kids three times a week.
