Visit the Opera in Copenhagen
The Copenhagen Opera House is as impressive as the productions that take place inside it. The main stage is connected directly to five other stages, making large setups very straightforward. The orchestra pit provides space for 110 musicians, while the auditorium seats nearly 1500. To the left of the stage, the Danish Queen has her own private balcony, and in the foyer of the opera house visitors can enjoy expansive views over Copenhagen.
Throughout the year, the Copenhagen Opera House has an impressive programme of Drama, Ballet, Opera and Concerts, attracting visitors from around the world. However, when the stage is not in operation there is still plenty to entertain.
Visitors can explore behind the scenes during a guided tour, or enjoy beautiful views over Copenhagen in the playhouse restaurant and bar.
Live theatre at the Copenhagen Opera House
Visitors in Copenhagen can purchase tickets to see live theatre at the Opera House box office. Throughout the year, the Copenhagen Opera House is also open to visitors with a number of free events, from literary salons to live jazz and meet the artist sessions.
After an evening out at the opera, retreat to the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel for Copenhagen accommodation with true comfort and style.
