Radisson Blu Royal Hotel elected Best Meeting Experience in Helsinki
The best tourist attractions and services in Helsinki have been elected in the annual Best of Helsinki public voting. This year, the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Helsinki was named the Best Meeting Experience in Helsinki. The electronic voting (www.bestofhelsinki.fi) organised by the Helsinki City Tourist & Convention Bureau started in January and closed at the end of October. All the winners were awarded at a gala held in Helsinki City Hall’s assembly hall on Thursday 25 November. Each main category in the Best of Helsinki competition featured five nominees elected in compliance with tourism, quality, criteria and Helsinki’s tourism brand. In the election of nominees, the significance and customer-focused product, service and object were taken into account. It was also possible to vote for one’s own nominee. The 2011 Best of Helsinki voting was launched at the Matka 2011 Travel Fair in January.
