Fun days out for the whole familyThe Gröna Lund amusement park is one of the best attractions in Stockholm for kids. The park has seven exhilarating rollercoasters as well as a wide range of stalls and other amusements to keep all the family members entertained. The park is located just outside the city center on the island of Djurgården, where you can also find a number of other family-friendly attractions. Getting to the island is easy by ferry from Slussen, the area that connects the islands of Gamla Stan and Södermalm.

The site is filled with fun activities and entertainers, as well as an onsite zoo containing seals, reindeer and many more animals. The 16th century Uppsala Castle is the perfect place to let their imaginations run wild as they tour the imposing structure and its modern day museum. The medieval town in Sigtuna to the north of Stockholm contains many interesting sights and ruins that are hugely popular with children of all ages.
