DESIGN TALKS: HOW TO BE ICONIC, STYLISH AND SOPHISTICATED
Design is part of Radisson Blu's DNA, which is why we love all the designers, architects and artists we choose to work with at our hotels.
Whether we are refurbishing or renovating a hotel, we not only obtain beautiful properties, but we completely review the interior design, creating social spaces to meet new people, match your desires and surprise you at every step of your journey.
We invited our designers and artists to showcase their iconic projects and how Radisson Blu has inspired their way of thinking. Enjoy our design talks.

Michel Trehet at Radisson Blu Hotel, Lyon
Michel Trehet at Radisson Blu Hotel, Lyon
Michel Trehet says, “As soon as I got to the 32nd floor, the cells, geometrically rowed per floor, gave me the impression to enter the Babel tower of Brueghel. This feeling was amplified by the ochre colors of the structure. Photographing the beauty, the strength, the unusual and the imaginary: this is the opportunity that was given to me by the Radisson Blu Hotel in Lyon.”

Born in 1950 in Le Havre, Michel Trehet made his name as a painter, art director and photographer. A graduate of the School of Fine Arts of Le Havre in 1968, he exhibited in several galleries from 1982 to 1993 in Le Havre, New York, Paris, Tokyo and Geneva . His work is based on a simple, graphic concept. Michel has a way of telling a story which is sober and composed, describing a mood or a moment of life. He started to explore photography in 2009 by doing his first series of photos dedicated to Deauville and Trouviller. His artworks, built on drawing, light, architecture and creation, reveals a very personal look at the world.

By combining their experience, aesthetic and conceptual approaches, they saw the opportunity to create their own agency.
Their work is characterized by the reinvention of spaces and volumes, proportionate volumes, shapes and materials and attention to detail.
