Tram & Metro Dubai

Dubai Metro

Discover the city without the stress of driving and juggling directions. The Dubai metro is a world-class, fully automated, driverless railway system. Considered one of the safest in the world, it has a dedicated police force and over 3000 cameras to monitor any questionable activity.

With 45 stations across the city, the metro can quickly take you to any desired destination or to other key transportation links like the tram or waterways. Indulgent passengers can enhance their travel experience by purchasing a Gold Class ticket. This ticket allows passengers to relax on wide leather seating while enjoying panoramic views in the front of the train. Women and children can also travel safely in their own special carriage.

The newest addition to Dubai’s dynamic transportation opened in 2014. Like the metro, it has a cabin for women and children and a First Class cabin. It runs for 14.5 kilometers (9.0 mi) along Al Sufouh Road from Dubai Marina and Jumeirah Beach to the Burj Al Arab and the Mall of the Emirates.

Operating every 6 minutes, the tram makes it easy to take in the sights of Media City or the Palm Jumeirah. The Dubai Tram also provides direct connectivity to all the other key transportation links within the city, including the Dubai metro and feeder buses to the RTA waterways.
