Dunedin has a maximum capacity of 200 reception style and 70 for a dinner/dance with a bar and dance floor. Dunedin can be split into 2 sections with a theatre style capacity of 100. The space can be used for small to large meetings, conferences, dinners and for any type of social event.
Canongate has a maximum capacity of 200 reception style and 84 for a dinner/dance with a bar and dance floor. The space can be split in half with a maximum capacity of 60 for a dinner or 100 theatre style. Canongate can be used for small to large meetings, conferences, dinners and for any type of social event.
Great Scots Hall
Great Scots Hall is a unique space that has a maximum capacity of 100 reception style, 72 for dinner and 60 for a dinner/dance with a bar and dance floor. The space is perfect for wedding ceremonies, celebratory lunches and dinners, and meetings alike.
St Giles is our largest space with a maximum capacity of 250 reception style, 192 for dinner and 156 for a dinner/dance with a bar and dance floor. The space is ideal for larger banquets, corporate events and meetings.
The Brain Box room is designed to be a creative space and inspire active engagement, it is an ideal syndicate room and can be used as a conventional meeting room for up to 10 people. The room was designed by the team at the hotel and features an AstroTurf floor. The room is colourful and flexible with a whole wall that can be used as a whiteboard for brainstorming. This space also features bean bags and a games table for a more relaxed vibe.

BRAIN FOOD: BOOSTING PERFORMANCEBrain Food has been developed by chefs and nutritionists to increase attendees’ concentration and reduce fatigue by stabilizing and maintaining blood sugar levels. Our menu focuses on locally sourced produce, whole grains, fruits and vegetables, which are prepared with minimal processing and natural sweeteners, providing benefits for meeting organisers and delegates alike.
From a working lunch to a 3-course banquet menu, our executive chef and his team will create a menu that works for you. Our working lunch offers a selection of sandwiches and salads served inside or outside the meeting room at a time of your choice.
A 3-course buffet lunch is available in the restaurant for meetings with more to time to break. Our lunch buffet has a selection of hot and cold dishes including a salad bar with oil and dressing accompaniments. Choose from options such as Scottish smoked salmon, grilled chicken breast, marinated mushrooms, soup, baked plaice fillets, roasted beef and whole grain penne with fried courgettes. Make sure you leave enough room for dessert, choices may include natural yoghurt with poached Bramley apple and cinnamon compote, chocolate mousse with rhubarb puree and a fruit salad.
