With Head Chef Barath Kumar at the helm, our exclusive pop-up uses fresh, locally-sourced and seasonal ingredients to create a menu of themed handmade Scotch beef burgers and favorites including North Sea battered cod and chips and 28-day dry aged rib eye steak. Lighter options such as salads, starters and sharing platters are also available as well as desserts, including our signature sundaes.
Burger & Fringe offers fun, tasty dishes that can refuel and re-energise, in relaxed surroundings. Situated next to the historic Royal Mile on the High Street, we are ideally located to satisfy hungry festival-goers and give them a taste of Scotland’s larder through Burger & Fringe.

Itchycoo Bar & Kitchen
Today, the restaurant is known for fresh and delicious foods that come from Scottish waters, the Highlands and local farmers. Visitors and locals alike come here to dine and enjoy a vast selection of cocktails, wines, spirits and beers from the drink menu. During the summer, our garden terrace makes a great spot to watch the Edinburgh Festival Fringe or the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
- Children under 14 years old staying at the hotel and accompanied by an adult are allowed in the back section of the bar for meals until 20:00.
- Children under 14 years old not staying in the hotel are not allowed in the bar at any time; they must be served in the Lounge.
- Hotel guests and visitors between the ages of 14 and 18 are allowed to eat meals in the back of the bar when accompanied by an adult.
