Hannover Fairground
From 1947 onward, visitors from all over the world have visited Hannover Fairground. Since the Center for Office and Information Technology, better known today as the CeBIT, was founded, the Hannover Fairground has enjoyed a growing reputation for being one of the forerunners in organizing and hosting international trade fairs and exhibitions.

Due to the interest and financial investment prior to Expo 2000, Hannover Fairground expanded and has become the world’s largest trade and exhibition fairground with 466,100 square meters of exhibition and hall space. After Expo 2000, the fairground continued to expand and attracted new and more specialized exhibitions to Lower Saxony’s capital city.

Convention Center

Expo Plaza
Long after Expo 2000, the Expo Plaza continues to be one of Hannover’s focal points throughout the year. Many international companies and educational establishments have made their home here, including the Hochschule Hannover (the University of Applied Sciences and Arts) the Multi Media Vocational School, Campe Bildungsmedien, the Leibniz School of Business, Nordmedia (a Lower Saxony film production company), BMW and Ferrari.

Peppermint Pavilion
The Peppermint Pavilion is one of the city’s top event locations and an integral part of the music industry in Hannover. It is also home to the internationally acclaimed artist Mousse T., who continues to operate the record label Peppermint Jam and the event agency Peppermint Event. In 2011, the pavilion was voted as Germany’s 2nd best event location. During Expo 2000, this venue was known as the Belgian Pavilion.
