Khaki Weed Photographic Safaris
Africa is home to an astonishing diverse wildlife, including some of the largest mammals on earth. Viewing and photographing these majestic creatures in their natural habitat is a truly unforgettable experience. Khaki Weed Photographic Safaris specializes in private tours for individuals, couples or small groups (up to a maximum of about five people) in the area around Johannesburg. They take visitors on personalized journeys into the African bush and help them capture that perfect wildlife photo.
Owner and guide Dave Moffatt is passionate about the local wildlife and uses his extensive knowledge of the animals and their behavior patterns to maximize your chances of a sighting. Whether you're happy to spend an afternoon quietly watching a variety of creatures come and go from a peaceful watering hole, or are eager to track down the famous Big Five, your private tour will be specifically tailored to suit your goals and interests.
Don’t forget your cameraKhaki Weed Safari Tours uses a 4x4 SUV, which lets you explore remoter roads and pathways through the bush, and also offers excellent views over tall grass and bushes. You can bring your own camera and equipment, or alternatively borrow a Canon SLR camera with 300mm telephoto lens for the day. Dave Moffatt will help you set up the perfect shot, and offer as much assistance as you need with the camera. Even if you are a beginner who may not be experienced with SLR cameras, you can still capture stunning images during the tour.
