We are pleased to announce that Radisson Blu Hotel, Kyiv has been awarded the internationally recognised Safehotels certification. The certification will make our hotel in Kyiv the 44th in a series of planned certifications within the Radisson Hotel Group.
In December 2014, the Radisson Hotel Group signed an agreement with Safehotels – a globally recognised security consultancy. The agreement made Radisson Hotel Group the first major international hotel group using the acclaimed independent certification programme to benefit guests, employees and owners. Radisson Blu Hotel, Kyiv completed the Safehotels official certification process, and was then awarded with the Safehotels Certificate.
“It is a great honour to attain this type of certification. Hospitality is all about taking care of guests. Safety and security is the base of that core, and having an independent certification confirms that our foundation complies with a solid, internationally recognised standard", says Claude Bulté, General Manager at Radisson Blu Hotel, Kyiv.
“Safehotels certification confirms that the hotel focuses on key elements of guest security relating to personal property and has appropriate response plans if ever there is an accident or any kind of emergency. The certificate shows the hotel is sincere in its guest’s personal well-being. Being independently audited and certified yearly by Safehotels strengthen the value of that communication immensely. The Radisson Hotel Group has taken the already high level of internal precautions one step further by signing with Safehotels”, says Hans Kanold, CEO for Safehotels Alliance AB.
Throughout 2015, over 70 selected Radisson hotels in Europe, Middle East and Africa will undergo the Safehotels certification process.
