Music and Congress Centre
The Music and Congress Center, just 100 meters from the Radisson Blu Senator Hotel, stands next to the River Trave and opposite Old Town. The venue opened its doors in 1994 and is now fondly called the MuK by city residents. Designed by internationally renowned architect Meinhardt von Gerkan, the center combines a concert hall, a civic and congress hall and an exhibition center.
Overlooking Lubeck’s scenic Old Town, the multi-functional foyer offers 1,650 square meters of event space capable of hosting up to 3,500 people. Abundant daylight and captivating modern architecture make it ideal for conference-related exhibitions, fairs, meetings, symposia, product presentations or standing concerts.
The Concert Hall
The Concert Hall can be booked with tiered or parliamentary-style seating. Up to 1,900 people can sit in rows with adjustable desktops, while up to 900 can sit parliamentary style. This premiere venue features state-of-the-art acoustics, media and projection technology.
Conference and Seminar Rooms
The MuK boasts 2 conference rooms and 8 seminar rooms. Their sizes can be tailored to individual requirements and range from 30 to 73 square meters. Larger combinations offer room for workshops or press conferences. The 180-square-meter concert hall is also available.
