The Radisson Blu Hotel in Lyon is conveniently located in the heart of the city center. Situated within the Tour Part-Dieu, which also serves as a tram stop, the hotel is directly connected to the city’s public transportation. Other connections to the city’s efficient tram and train networks are within walking distance. From the Rue de la Villette Station, which is only 300 meters from the hotel, you can easily travel to the Lyon–Saint Exupéry International Airport in less than 30 minutes. At the TGV Part-Dieu Station, 300 meters from the hotel, trains connect to Paris and much of the Rhône region.  

Exploring Lyon on foot

One of the best ways to explore Lyon is on foot. The city’s historic streets wind their way around the Rhône River. There are plenty of small alleyways, known as Traboules to explore, and many fine eateries along the way. Other highlights such as the Place des Jacobins and the Vieux Lyon are also within walking distance from the hotel.  

If you fancy shopping to pick up some French fashion or browse boutiques, local produce or souvenir stores, stroll along the city center’s streets or visit the Old Town for one of the largest open-air shopping arcades in the region. The famous Part-Dieu Shopping Mall is also worth a visit with everything conveniently under one roof.
