Transport in Lyon


Getting around Lyon by public transport is simple. The city has an extensive network of trains, buses and trams to help you explore. The route planner from TCL, the company that runs the transport network, allows you to plan your journey if you need to get around the city. The nearest station to the Radisson Blu Hotel in Lyon city center is Gare de Lyon-Part-Dieu, the largest of the city's five railway stations, is located one street away. The station is served by a fast, reliable train link from Lyon-Saint-Exupéry Airport, as well as high-speed TGV trains and trains to other destinations in France making it easy to reach the hotel.

Although many attractions and city highlights, such as the Old Town, are within easy reach of the hotel on foot, there are buses, trams and the metro to help you get around efficiently. These are also useful for reaching attractions on the outskirts of the city, such as Parc Blandan, in no time.

They offer a hop-on, hop-off bus tour so you can chose how long you spend at each museum, gallery or sight, then all you have to do is jump on the next bus that comes along. Tickets last for 1 or 2 days.
