RedFestDXB is the largest music festival in the United Arab Emirates, hosted in association with Virgin Radio. It launched in 2014 with headliners including The Lumineers and Jessie J. In the past three years, other artists who performed at DXB include The Script, Iggy Azalea, Tinie Tempah, Bastille, Rita Ora, Adam Lambert and Fifth Harmony. DXB usually ends the festival with world famous DJ’s sets and in the last few years DJs like Mark Ronson, Zane Lowe, Gorgon City, Wilkinson and Steve Aoki have closed the shows. A festival in the heart of Dubai Media CityRedFestDXB takes place over two days in February at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre which is only a ten minute walk from the Radisson Blu Hotel in the same area. In 2017, seven of the world’s hottest artists are set to perform at the region’s leading music festival; Chris Brown, Daya, The Veronicas, Demi Lovato, Mike Posner, Alessia Cara and Tove Lo are all confirmed. Ticket options vary as it is a two-day festival. Weekend passes start at AED 695 and day passes start at AED 395.
