Nice Airport

As a first port of entry to southern France, Nice Airport does not disappoint. I it is located on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, and travelers arrive just minutes from the city center.

Nice Côte d’Azur Airport in France is located about six kilometres southwest of the city. The airport is France’s third busiest airport after Charles de Gaulle International and Orly. There are two terminals at this busy aviation hub, which handled some 10.4 million in 2011.

Courtesy shuttle buses are available at the airport, which run between the two terminal buildings and the parking lots to transport passengers where they need to go. In total, there are 8 parking lots catering for short and long-term parking.

Found at the western fringe of the Promenade des Anglais, Nice Airport puts travelers just a short journey away from the city center and even closer to the Radisson Blu Hotel, Nice. The Cote d'Azur Airport connects many travelers heading to the French Riviera to their destinations. The airport operates two terminals and receives flights year-round from all over Europe, plus locations in North Africa and the Middle East.

Traveling to and from the airport

Regular shuttle services connect Nice Airport to the city for traveling convenience. Travelers can purchase tickets at the Terminal 1 bus office. Alternatives to the shuttle service include readily available taxis and motorbike taxis. There are also several rental car agencies on the premises.

Officials recommend leaving plenty of time for check-in and security for traveling through Nice Airport, especially during the peak summer season.
