As a city, Prague has always been famous for its beer. The Czech Republic has the greatest per capita consumption of beer in the world, so it makes a lot of sense that its people are renowned for their knowledge in the art of brewing good beer. For the curious visitor, a brewery tour is the best way to combine sightseeing with beer tasting.

The Prague Brewery Tour gives visitors the opportunity to visit local mini-breweries and learn how the Czechs go about their brewing business. During the interesting walking tour through the city you will sample some of Prague’s finest local beers, learn about the process of brewing and beer-related history.

The first stop on the tour is the Novoměstský Pivovar, one of the oldest mini-breweries in Prague. Their own beer-master will take you through the process they use, and show you around the cellar and cooling rooms. As you move towards the next stop your guide will provide you with interesting facts and stories, giving the tour a historic flare. A Q&A will be held at the second stop allowing you to ask anything you may be wondering about Prague or the breweries while sampling 2 or 3 delicious local beers. At the last stop of the tour you will be treated to Czech appetizers and unlimited beer, a chance to revisit some of the favorites discovered during the tour.
