Radisson Blu Hotel, Zurich Airport

The Circle at Zurich Airport

Opening in 2019, this mega mix of architecture and activity is steadily evolving from one of Switzerland’s largest construction sites to a beautiful destination right on the doormat of Zurich Airport. The architects envision The Circle to be a buzz of liveliness with many office spaces, shops, restaurants and entertainment venues. If you have a layover at the airport, then just step into The Circle to grab a bite to eat, to shop around or to admire the architecture.

Stroll around this airport hub

This immense building project will become a large international trading center offering those with offices here, a range of facilities to enjoy. There will be a major Convention Center inside that can host up to 2,300 people, as well as medical facilities, restaurants, shops, and venues for training and education courses, plus much more.

One of the main elements of this new attraction is its wonderful Swiss architecture. The architects behind the project wanted to make the space surprising and delighting for all its visitors, using Swiss precision and delicacy. Step inside this miniature city to find yourself separated from the stress of traveling, and be transported to a cultural and creative center, designed for your satisfaction.

The Circle will cover 180,000 square meters of space, its designer buildings wrapping around a semi horseshoe away from the airport. Tucked behind the buildings you’ll find a spacious park filled with trees and fresh greenery, perfect for a small break or getaway. You can sit in the shade under the foliage and gaze at the airplanes as they pass overhead, or go for a walk to stretch your legs.

A short layover

The Circle is especially perfect for those embarking on a ‘fly-in fly-out’ business meeting and those with a little time between flights. If you have a longer stop-over, or if you are looking for accommodation adjacent to the airport, then stay at the stylish Radisson Blu Hotel, Zurich Airport to take advantage of everything the Circle has to offer.
