The Norwegian National Opera & Ballet
Norway’s largest performing arts institution, the Norwegian National Opera & Ballet is a Snøhetta-designed landmark in the old harbor area of Bjørvika. Opened in 2008, it is the first opera house in the world to let visitors walk on the roof. The institution’s more than 600 employees work in about 50 professions and trades.
Vigeland Sculpture Park
Vigeland Sculpture Park is one of Norway's most popular attractions, drawing more than one million visitors annually. The sculpture park is the monumental life work of sculptor Gustav Vigeland (1869 - 1943). He designed the park that exhibits more than 200 of his sculptures in bronze, granite and cast iron. Open all day year round, the park invites you to linger and reflect in its serene setting.
