Königsallee – exclusive shopping boulevard
One of Germany's most exclusive shopping districts, The Königsallee is a kilometer and a half long avenue that stretches through Düsseldorf’s Old Town. The boulevard is home to luxury shopping boutiques and showrooms of esteemed couturiers.
The Kö, as it is often called, has many high end brands such as Prada, Gucci, Chanel and other fashion houses that line this spacious avenue. The name itself directly translates to the King's Avenue, and this tree-lined pathway has always been the playground of the fashionable and affluent.
A beautiful ancient canal flows down the middle of the street, so if you are looking to take a picturesque stroll, it’s the perfect spot grab an ice cream, wander in the sunshine and watch the bustling crowds as they shop to their heart’s content.
