"A weekend to remember."

My cousins from Melbourne were going on a cruise starting from Sydney and they asked us to spend the night with them so we booked at the Raddison Blu hotel where they are staying. The Hotel is an old one but that did not matter to us. There was no parking in the building but the valet parking was great. The staff was welcoming us soon as you get off your car. The bar and the food for breakfast was great. I choose to have a spa room upgrade but I feel it was not worth the money I spent for it as it was not really relaxing. The room was ok but as soon as you go in the room, you can smell the musty and stale air in the room. On top of that, after i paid for the stay, a couple of days after I checked my bank account and there it was, I have a pending charge again for the same room. I rang them up and luckily the accounting department resolved it straight away.It should have not gone through at all. As I said, the staff is the saving grace of the hotel, they have wonderful stall and the bar and the food we had for breakfast was great. At the end of the day, we had a wonderful time catching up with my cousins and that was all that counts.
