Walk your troubles away in the Dendrarium

Widely known as part of the Russian Riviera, Sochi has plenty of natural beauty to offer visitors on vacation. The Dendrarium, otherwise known as the Dendrary Botanical Garden, helps those looking for an escape to forget their worries. A peaceful walk through the beautiful plant life will empty your mind and fill your soul, so be sure to include a trip here in your itinerary.

Spanning over 40 acres, Russia's largest subtropical garden features some 2,000 plants from all over the world. Along with the exotic plant life, many interesting and rare animals call the Dendrarium home. The park also features a manmade waterfall, and divides its exhibits up in to areas, classifying them by region to help educate visitors about the world.

Getting around

If you would like to discover the area without walking too much, you can rent a golf cart or take the cable car to the upper part of the park, considered by many visitors to be the most interesting. While exploring, you will find a number of fountains and statues as well as interesting plants.
