Green Key Certification

The Radisson Blu Resort & Congress Centre, Sochi is part of the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group that further enhances its commitment to Responsible Business, announcing that the hotel received the Green Key certification.

The Green Key is a global eco-label for the leisure industry. In order to gain Green Key certification, hotels have to fulfill a list of environmental requirements, covering a wide range of criteria, from environmental demands to demands on policy, availability of action plans, education and communication. Obtaining the Green Key shows the sense of responsibility an organisation commits to its surroundings and society.

The hotel and its staff have implemented and continue to practice an effective environmental policy that includes guidelines for staff training as well as for the saving of water and energy and the disposal of wastes and chemical products. Applied through employee empowerment, the policy also seeks to build supplier and customer awareness about environmental preservation. The staff also uses environmentally friendly cleaning products. The hotel is committed to respecting nature and contributing to environmental education.

When guests choose a hotel awarded the Green Key eco-label, they are guaranteed a stay in a respected and preserved environment where they, too, are encouraged to participate in the green practices.
