Airport Taxis
If soaking up the true Fijian experience is what you’re after, local taxis are also available at Nadi International Airport. One way transfers to/from the airport can range from $35 - $50 FJD. Local taxis can be arranged at Reception for travelling around, or hop on a local bus and explore what Nadi has to offer.

Getting Around – Local Transport
Bula Bus
A true Fiji experience, an open sided thatched roof bus that travels Denarau on Fiji Time stopping at all of the resorts on the way to the port. Attractive multi-day passes are available from the Lailai Mini Mart.

Denarau Taxis
Privately run hire cars that are significantly better quality and are properly insured, these are the only taxis allowed to pick up guests on the private island of Denarau.

West Bus
The west bus is by far the cheapest way to get around Denarau and into Nadi town, departing every 15 minutes from the bus stop outside the resort. Beware however; the bus that picks up from the resort does not go all the way to the port, so a small walk will be required. Perfect for the independent traveller but do discuss with concierge.

Nadi/Airport Taxis
While cheaper than the Denarau taxi’s, you will find you will pay for what you get, the resort makes no promises that the cars are in good condition or insured. These taxi’s are able to drop you off on the island but able to pick you up from the resort only by making a pre-booking as a result of local Government regulations.
