Radisson Blu Resort, Jizan

Jazan Economic City (JEC)

This sprawling economic city started being constructed in 2006 and is set to be one of the primary drivers of the Saudi Arabian economy. The JEC creates over 150,000 jobs and has space for 300,000 people to call the city home. Strategically located, this space is 60 kilometers northwest of Jizan, which is one of the country’s most important ports to the Red Sea. Over 100 billion SAR is said to be invested in construction and design to create this 102-square-kilometer area into a zone for development, logistics and business.

A business hub

Envisioned to be an economic hub, the city is completely self-containing and fully integrated. Regional raw materials pass through here on the way to export to global consumer markets, and its capabilities are mammoth. Around two-thirds of this area is dedicated to logistics and industrial zones in order to move and direct produce and materials. Powered by a mega power plant and serviced from the industrial seaport, Jazan Economic City has it all.

An aluminum smelter, metal and mineral processing plants, fisheries and an oil refinery are only some of the industrial extras the city has to offer. This space also has facilities for those residing within its limits. Residential areas, hospitality and recreation, academic and vocational facilities and a marina are also part of the project to make the city comfortable for those working or living here.

Stay just outside Jizan and get the best of both worlds. Enjoy accommodation on the waterfront with a view of the Red Sea while being close to the Economic City. Radisson Blu Resort Jizan offers you resort-style living while working at JEC. If looking for business spaces to impress when on the job, the hotel has excellent meeting facilities including a ballroom, breakout areas and rooms to cater for up to 100 guests.
