Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Split

The Split Peninsula is located at the southern tip of Croatia and is graced by the stunning beaches of the Adriatic Sea. Split is the second-largest coastal city in the country and is one of the most popular destinations due to its breathtaking and unforgettable landscape and views, not to mention the pristine Split sands.

Beautiful sand or pebbled beaches

From the sandy shores of Bacvice to the pebbled footing of Kasuni on the south side of Mount Marjan, there are plenty of beaches to explore regardless of whether you prefer sand or pebbles under your feet. Bacvice is just down the road from the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Split and has wide, shallow waters, perfect for those with children. Be sure to rent parasols and chairs for a more comfortable day by the sea. To the west of the harbor, you will find the Kasuni and Kastelet beaches. The waters here can be incredibly clear and at Kasuni, the shoreline is lined with pine trees, which is a wonderful sight.

Activities by the water

Many beaches in Split have great facilities too, offering cold drinks, coffee and snacks, so you won’t need to pack up and leave when it is time for refreshments. Relax and soak up the sun at Znjan Beach, which connects to our hotel’s own private beach, and check out the nearby waterpark, which is particularly popular with kids and adults with young hearts. There is also a playground, skate park and plenty of dining and snack options here. This is the perfect place for families and those looking to find a quieter area than those closer to the city center.
