Oslo Winter Park

Have the time of your life at Tryvann Ski Resort

If you are a winter sports enthusiast visiting the Norwegian capital, then the Oslo Winter Park needs to be on top of your must-see list. 18 slopes are serviced by 11 lifts, including three chairlifts, meaning that regardless of your skill level you can enjoy a fun day out. The season normally starts in December and ends in April. In other words, wintery fun awaits you only 20 minutes away from the city center, so what are you waiting for?

Wintery fun for everyone

Whether you are an experienced skier or want to learn the ropes, then this is the right choice. Here, you can take a lesson in Norway’s favorite pastime at the ski school or soar down the slopes on your own. If you had to leave your skiing equipment at home there is no need to be down, as there are ample rental opportunities available. Should you damage your skis then there is ski repair available on-site, as well as a café for you to relax in between thrilling rides down the hill. In other words, Oslo Winter Park has everything you expect from a ski resort.

Challenge yourself and your friends

The park’s very own terrain park is guaranteed to give you both a challenge and a thrill. There are easier elements, jumps and rails in the Blue Park, suitable if you have little or no experience with freestyle skiing and snowboarding. The Red Park features more challenging elements, while the black slopestyle route, Tyr, is for the advanced adrenaline enthusiast. Many of the rails were used in the 2012 Snowboard World Championship.

As the main ski resort for the Norwegian capital, Oslo Winter Park is easily reached by public transport from anywhere in the city. After you have spent a thrilling day in the slopes you can head back to your home away from home, our Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Oslo. Here, comfortable and stylish rooms in the heart of the city awaits your return.
