Espoo’s main thoroughfare, Kuninkaantie (King’s Road), crossing through the city (the old Turku-Vyborg highway, or Suuri rantatie) was constructed in the 13th century. In the cityscape there are many reminders of olden times, such as the medieval cathedral and many beautiful mansions. You can spend your time in Espoo admiring the scenic and historic landscape or in a more urban way by shopping and attending cultural activities – in Espoo there is something for everyone.
